This page isn't a lesson, but it will show you how you might be graded on an inference assignment.  You won't just use inferencing in reading-you will use it in every subject where you have to read something-science, math, history.  That is why it is so important to become a strong reader-you can't escape it!  I would want you to score at least a two on this rubric.  You are just learning to infer, so don't panic when you see what is required to score a 4-if you scored a 4 I wouldn't have anything else to teach you!
